The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how young adults experience the library and the space that they have access to. I used semi-structured interviews to find out about this and interviewed eight youths between the ages of 15 and 18 in a medium sized city in the province of Västra Götaland in Sweden. I then analyzed the material with the help of Goffman?s theory about front stage and Back stage. I also did a small comparison with results from previous studies.The result showed that the youths generally liked the library and the staff but they had opinions on some issues.

Vi utgår från tre frågeställningar:? ? ?På vilka sätt framställer sig svenska kvinnor på Twitter? Vilka skillnader finns mellan användare beroende på antal följare? Vilken gräns sätter kvinnor för vad de delar med sig till sin publik på Twitter?De teoretiska utgångspunkterna för denna studie är i Erving Goffmans teorier om ?front stage?, ?Back stage? och ?impression management? och nyare forskning gjord av bland andra danah boyd samt begreppet representation.

The purpose of our study is to find out how teachers can help their students to learn how to managestage fright. By interviewing high school teachers and high school students and also observe one oftheir classes, we wanted to find out how they think about the causes of stage fright and what youcan do to relieve it. We also wanted to find out how teachers are working to teach students how todeal with stage fright, and how they think that you also could work. As a teacher of music, among other things, the task is to assess and rate the students performancesin music. Several components are based on the students' courage to play on his or her instrument infront of other people.

Syftet med arbetet har varit att undersöka om en viss arkitektur kan användas för att underlätta utvecklingen av ett Back Office-system till ett befintligt och komplext verksamhetssystem.För att gränsa av arbetet och hitta de delar som var intressanta att fokusera på genomfördes intervjuer med tre olika personer som hade olika syn på ett Back Office-system genom sin yrkesroll. Intervjuerna resulterade i ett antal önskemål för vad man ville uppnå med ett Back Office-system.Arbetet resulterade i en arkitektur som kan användas för att underlätta utvecklingen av ett Back Office-system till det befintliga verksamhetssystemet samt till verksamhetssystemet självt. Arkitekturen har utvärderats genom att man först ställde en mängd krav på den och sedan studerade hur den klarade av en mängd nya krav som delvis var relaterade till de gamla kraven.Alla tester som gjorts visar på att arkitekturen är väl designad och lätt att underhålla samt att den kommer underlätta den fortsatta utvecklingen av verksamhetssystemet och dess Back Office-system..

Impression of reality deals with the subject of wearing a mask. It is an exploration of the idea that we are all playing different roles, on a stage in front of an audience. The aim was to work conceptually with text, photo and video as a way of exploring a subject. The goal was to create and edit the material so it would be interesting for the visitor at the graduation exhibition. The content was created through experiments based on questions such as the following examples; What is a mask? How can content control form? What is originality? The process resulted in a publication and a video installation with the ambition of highlighting the idea of the world as a theatrical construction.

The final stage of a designers work is always a bit tricky. Design is an abstract phenomenon and no one can tell when a design is really finished. The design process that designers work within has been thoroughly studied but cannot be truly mapped with strict constraints which the designer can follow to succeed. Therefore, in this paper we take a look at the final stage in the design process. The main goal is to get more knowledge and highlight key factors about what designers face when they are about finish their design or what forces them to leave a project that can stay in development for eternity.

Under examensarbetet utfördes en undersökning och testning mot en nyutvecklad backend server för ett ärendehanteringssystem hos företaget Navigate Consulting. Syftet med testen är att utvärdera funktionaliteten som är nödvändigt för att skapa systemet, hitta eventuella flaskhalsar som kan uppstå vid utvecklingen samt utvärdera hur kommunikationen mot back-end servern fungerade i praktik.Kravet av testningen mot ärendehanteringssystemet var att det skulle vara i form av en prototyp som grafiskt kunde demonstrera hur funktionaliteten kunde implementeras samt att det var ett webbaserat gränssnitt som kunde köras på en Tomcat 7.0 server. Det beslutades att det grafiska gränssnittet och kommunikationen mot back-end servern skulle ske med Java EE.Kommunikationen mot back-end gjordes via JSON-RPC som är ett lättviktigt RPC som kommunicerar via http. Utvecklat speciellt för JavaScript kunde det dock anpassas för att användas med Java på servern.Examensarbetet genomfördes med nära kontakt med utvecklaren av back-end systemet. Regelbundna möten möjliggjorde att all funktionalitet som behövdes från prototypen fanns samt eventuella uppgraderingar på back-end servern kunde utföras..

The purpose of this dissertation is to describe small businesses? opinions about the auditor as a business adviser as well as their need for advice, dependent on which stage of the lifecycle model they belong to. This dissertation has a qualitative approach as the authors wanted to gain a deeper understanding about the problem area. As the lifecycle model in this dissertation consist of three stages, the authors have interviewed six small businesses, two in each stage. The interviews were conducted with the owner and took place at the location of the business.

Detta examensarbete har utförts vid Saab Dynamics AB(SBD) i Karlskoga med syftet att studera gamla konstruktioner av set-back-generatorer. En set-back-generator (SBG) ska ge momentan energi vid utskjutning av en projektil genom att en magnet rör sig genom en spole. SBG har funnits länge men har bedömts ge för lite energi för att kunna driva elektronik. Men nya typer av magneter har potential att öka energiutbytet väsentligt.SBD har ett antal äldre SBG:er och arbetet har varit att utifrån dessa undersöka om det går att utvinna mer energi genom ett utbyte av magnet. Andra parametrar som är viktiga för en SBG:s funktion har också studerats och testats i olika konfigurationer i hopp om ytterligare förbättringar.

During the last decade of the twentieth century both ?manhood? and gender studies seems to have undergone changes. With the field of masculinity and the critical studies of men, added as ?subsections? of broader gender studies, new knowledge has been produced to better grasp the production of gender and power relations of patriarchy. During the same decade as the ?metrosexual? first appeared of the urban stage, acts of homophobia and attitudes towards ?manhood? seems to have changed.

Purpose of this study is to describe and analyze school social work in rural area and being alone in social work at the school welfare/health team and how this affects the individual, professionally and privately.The theoretical framework highlights the empirical data through Goffman's dramaturgical perspective. The study highlights school social workers role on the scene as Goffman divided as the front and rear arena and how school social worker find strategies to cope with it alone work it takes to be a counselor in rural areas.One way to handle her role involves acting in one of the following three characters: the self-employed, infiltrator and tough guy.The study describes how the social worker harboring the stress in the profession; through recovery - physical and mental, on the Back stage, backstage.On stage there are other players such as student health team, which also acts and affect what happens on the front stage.School social workers are working hard to position itself in relation to other professions in student welfare/health team and to have a mandate to act.In the analysis, it appears that the school social workers want a clearer role profession/ occupation profession and mandate to act, which may be complicated by today is the only counselor in student welfare/health team lacking identity. There is also a desire for further/ continuing education, but this is seen as an organizational pitfall when the manager does not have the same educational background as school social worker.Ultimately, it is the peripatetic life as a social worker at the school who is considered the most exhausting part of the work as a school social worker in a rural area. There is a great desire among the interviewed school social workers to have fewer schools to relate to and work on..

This study deals with the complex phenomenon of occupational health. There is knowledge of how a good work environment should look like, but despite this, many employees experiences ill health in the workplace mainly in the form of neck and back pain. This study is a case study conducted in a high-risk workplace. The overall purpose was to describe and analyze the health situation of a specific company with neck and back problems. Mainly, eight interviews had been used as the data collection method, but additional observations had also been implemented.

This is the project of making a stage design for Batboy ? the musical, a cooporation with a network of musical artists. The aim of the project was to create a space on stage that strengthens and expands the experience of the story told, and find design solutions that give an extra dimension to the story. The prerequisites for my work were partly defined from the produc¬tion, as were my limitations. In the cast of ten artists some were to play more than one role, often one of the opposite sex.

In the project, my ambition was to make a stage design for theater withteenagers as target group. I have worked with the musical theater groupTheater ACTA in Gothenburg and independently from scripts, interpretedand shaped an outline for the basis of the set design of the play?s differentelements. The play, If this was a feel-good movie, is written by Elin Frostand Anna Lundholm, two members of Theater ACTA. The story is aboutthree people in their twenties with different relationships to each other andone week that would change their lives.

The demand of nature tourism is increasing and new ways to satisfy tourists are necessary.The goal with this report was to answer that demand by exploring the possibilities for backcountry skiing north of Torneträsk. This area was chosen because it is unexplored. This hasbeen succeeded by an extensive fieldwork. Aspects like topography, routes, slope angles andgeological places of interests where recorded. The results has shown that back country skiingis well suited for this area and poses no negative impact on the natural habitat.
